FIRE UP YOUR METABOLISM WITH MALASANA - YOGI360
The name Mālāsana comes from the Sanskrit words Mala meaning “Excretion” and asana meaning “Pose”. This Pose is one of the most important asana for detoxifying the body. This helps to create the pressure on abdomen and cleans the bowel.
Purification (shaucha) is a fundamental aim of all the yogic practices, and it is the first principle of Self-Discipline (Niyama) in “Patanjali’s Eight-Limbs of Yoga”. The impurities in our internal body badly affect our state of mind and prevent us from using our Buddhi (Intellect); to trigger the right kind of decisions in our life. Through this yogic practice, the body and the mind become cleansed and our transcendent development speeds up.
Performing Malasana purifies the body through movements that increase and improves the oxygenated blood flow and prana (life force energy) in every single tissues, muscles and organs. This pose squeezes and massages the muscles and organs, to empty out the old stagnant blood and bring in the fresh blood with full of nutrients and oxygen.
